The Outdoor Risk Management (ORM) program was created in the spring of 2019.
NSP’s ORM program provides training and education in risk management for patrollers who may be asked to perform risk management functions for their resort operators.
This education program is in development. It will address topics including legislation, industry standards and practices, and risk identification and mitigation activities, along with operational basics of other on-mountain departments such as ski/ride school, lift operations, lift maintenance, terrain park operations, snowmaking and grooming.
