Granite Peak – We have a block of rooms reserved for staff and instructors at Fairfield Inns in Wausau (about 8 miles from Granite Peak) for $99/night. The hotel offers a free hot breakfast, free wifi, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and a whirlpool. Please contact me at skills@nspcd.org to secure a room.
Cascade Mountain – We have a block of rooms reserved for staff and instructors at Best Western in Portage (about 10 minutes from Cascade) for $88/night. The hotel offers free continental breakfast, free wifi, a fitness center, an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. Please contact me at skills@nspcd.org to secure a room.
Lift Tickets – will be passed out daily at the event to only those who are participating and registered for the event.
Attire: if you will be running toboggans (sessions 4, 5, 6, 7) please wear your patrol coat/vest. If you are only doing the ski/ride portion (sessions 1, 2, 3) you may wear non-patrol gear. Dress for the weather. We will have both indoor and outdoor sessions.
