Please consider helping out at this year’s NSP Information Booth or Ski Sale run by the Southern Region.
Patroller Help at NSP Information Booth Needed:
This venue offers us an excellent opportunity to promote patrolling among snow-sport enthusiasts. At the ski sale, there is a Patrol information booth at the entrance of the merchandise venue. This booth is staffed with patrollers from the Southern Region who answer questions, provide safety tips, and provide information about how to learn more about patrolling. A sign-up sheet is available to collect contact information from those interested in joining one of the patrols in the Southern Region.
We need to staff this booth with both seasoned and newer patrollers from throughout the region who are willing to engage in dialogue about patrolling and act as ambassadors for becoming patrol volunteers. The booth is stocked with printed information about the areas in our region and about patrolling in general. Most of the inquiries are easily answered – our objective is to collect names/email addresses, so we can actively recruit after the show.
We’d like to staff the table throughout the Ski Sale in 2-3 hour shifts as follows:
Friday, September 30th: 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. [3-5; 5-7; 7-10]
Saturday, October 1st : 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. [10-12; 12-2; 2-4; 4-6; 6-8]
Sunday, October 3rd: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. [10-12; 12-2; 2-4]
If you are able to help out at this table and can commit to at least 1 of the time slots listed above, please contact Lee Anne Stoddart (Southern Region Recruiting Advisor) at firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know the date/time you would be able to help so we can fill out the schedule over the 3-day period.
Patroller Help with Inventory Needed On These Days/Times:
Wednesday, 9/28: Setup/”Unload the Trailer” day, 3 pm to 10 pm – Bring your work gloves
Thursday, 9/29: “Vendor Check-In” day, 9 am to completion. After all, items have been checked in and placed on the sale floor, we will have a pre-show sale for all the workers who helped with the set-up.
Friday, 9/30: Rep. check-in and clean-up before the show, 10 am – 2 pm.
Sunday, 10/3: Tear Down 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
